xMOD™

The xMOD™ is an application software that facilitates standalone and tool coupling co-simulation between several simulation tools. The main idea of xMOD™ is to combine, within the same platform:

• Heterogeneous model integration environment
• Virtual experimentation laboratory

The integration process does not impose the tools. xMOD does not intend to replace the original modeling and simulation tools but aims to promote their coexistence: Feel free to use the most efficient modeling tool/language for your needs.

The highlight of xMOD™ is the ability to adapt the heterogeneous models for any simulation mode, allowing both system and control engineers to initiate the verification and validation phases early in the design cycle.

Continuous development process

With the ENORISE Collaborative Framework, the powertrain models are initially implemented at the desktop, then sent and executed at the test rig in real time, combined with physical components. In the final step, the actual powertrain is validated on the road. From beginning to end, the engineers remain in the same software environment: FEVFLEX for information management and MORPHEE® for task processing.

xMOD is a simulation platform that adapts its interface to each engineering field: to be an expert in modeling is no longer necessary to run simulations! The graphical user interface allows you to import your models and use your instruments using Drag’n’Drop.
Inside xMOD you will find highly optimized algorithms and advanced synchronization techniques based on Multi-threading and Multi-core processing. This allows xMOD to execute models embedding different solvers at different step-times on multi-core architectures, enabling much faster execution of complex simulations.
